SCHEDULING
How do I schedule a shoot?
I have made scheduling a shoot super easy. You can visit the online Booking Page to choose your Day, Time, Photo Pakage and Pre-pay if you choose. Or send me a text at 315-882-0926 with a day/time in mind.
Cancellations & Reschedules?
There are no fees for reschedules or cancellations unless I have already arrived at the shoot. If I have arrived and the property is not ready to shoot or the property is not accessible, a cancellation fee of $75 will be incurred.
Inclement weather?
Inclement weather preventing safe travel or quality photos may require rescheduling and is not subject to a cancellation fee. If weather conditions preclude exterior photography, interior photography will proceed at the discretion of the agent. A follow-up shoot for exterior photography will be scheduled as soon as possible and will incur a $50 fee.
Do you work nights and weekends?
I try to keep nights and weekends for family as I do have a full schedule throughout the week. On occasion I will open up a slot if family schedule allows. During the summer months my schedule is extremly flexible.
Travel Fees?
Please note that travel fees are assessed for areas 25 miles outside of zip code 13029, my standard service area. These fees are added to your invoice during the booking process and/or on your final invoice. Travel fees may be reduced or eliminated if multiple properties are booked within the same location. See Pricing Page for details.
How can I pay?
An invoice via PayPal will be sent to you following the shoot if you haven't paid via online booking. Payment options are PayPal, Credit Card via online, Credit Card in Person, Cash, Check, Apple Pay and Venmo.
Why should you invest in professional photography?
See Why Use a Pro Page.
THE SHOOT
How long does a photoshoot take?
Typically the shoot takes approximately one hour for up to a 3,500sf house, but ask that you plan for a two hour session. The house should be shoot-ready before photos are scheduled to be taken. All staging and cleaning should be done prior to arrival in order to maintain both your schedule and mine.
Do you Stage Properties and move things around?
Although I am happy to rearrange couch pillows and do some very “light” staging for the photos, the house should be cleaned, de-cluttered and staged before I arrive.
How do I get my clients to style/prep their home?
I have created a Home Prep Guide for clients to guide them with staging for their Professional Photo Shoot and/or open house. Please feel free to share with them via text, email or print. This is a great tool for your (Prospective) Client presentation.
Does the Realtor/Home Owner need to be present at the shoot?
The Realtor/Home Owner does not need to be present at the property as long as instructions are left as to how to access the property.
What if they have animals?
Pets must be contained or removed from the property for the photoshoot. If homeowners cannot be present at the time of shoot, arrange for a family/friend to be present and assist with the pet.
POST SHOOT
How will the Photos be delivered?
Within 24 hours of the shoot, you will be sent a link via text and/or email with your private photo gallery. A password to view and download the photos will be included.
What's the Turnaround time?
Turnaround time is 24 hours for MLS Listing Photos. I try to deliver following day by 12:00pm unless otherwise discussed.
Who owns the images produced?
All photos will be copyrighted by the photographer. The photographer reserves the right to use photos for future marketing purposes. All photos produced for the client may be used by that Agent/Homeowner for all marketing associated with the current sale of the property in accordance with local MLS rules. Any usage of the images by a third party, including but not limited to architects, builders, stagers, designers, sellers, or buyers, is strictly prohibited unless approved and licensed in writing by the photographer. You may not transfer or sell any of the images. See Terms & Conditions.
MISC
Do you do Headshots or any other Photography?
Due to the extremely high amount of Real Estate Listing requests being booked, I am currently not photographing any other types of work.
Difference between a RE/New Build/Design Shoot?
While they are very similar, Design + Build photography is slightly different from standard real estate photography. First, there are major usage differences - typically images provided to builders & designers will be used to market their business long term (sometimes years), whereas real estate agents typically only use their images for a few months, specifically to sell a property. Secondly, because of the usage differences, photo shoots for designers & builders are much more involved from both an equipment standpoint and a detail standpoint. When you hire me to photograph your design or build work, you can expect to receive top quality images with a refined look, using the most advanced lighting techniques available, which will represent your work in the best way possible and help to earn you more business.
